JP CORMIER & the ELLIOTT BROTHERS
JP Cormier is a hugely talented bluegrass/folk/Celtic singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, multi award winner (Canadian Folk Music Award, Music Nova Scotia Awards and Juno nomination) and he has played the Grand Ole Opry alongside Waylon Jennings, Marty Stuart, and Earl Scruggs. Joined by Mike Elliott (bass) and Bill Elliott (guitar), this trio engage their combined talent for an electrifying set.
SPRAG SESSION
(formerly Colin Grant Band)
Mixing the soulful roots of traditional Cape Breton music with funk and rock grooves, Sprag Session create a dynamic and thoughtful mingling of these influences. The band centres around the inventive fiddle playing of Colin Grant (Winner 2010 Music Nova Scotia "Roots/Traditional Recording of the Year") and features Jason Roach (piano), Darren MacMullen (mandolin, guitar, banjo, bouzouki), Donnie Calabrese (bass) and Merlin Clarke (drums/percussion).

Roddy has spent the last fifteen years recording music and touring worldwide with Idlewild. During this time releasing seven albums and supporting REM, U2 and Rolling Stones (amongst others). With the band on a break, Roddy is gaining a reputation as a solo artist in his own right, with two solo albums under his belt and as part of the trio "Drever, McCusker & Woomble".
